I had the pleasure of seeing Sy perform for the first time Summer 2007 and was completely blown away...Her energy is crazy...Any time someone has me rocking to some music I have never heard before and gives me the strong desire to go purchase it, has got to be amazing.
I met Sy that day and thought the person just as amazing as the artist that rocked the African American Heritage Festival here in Baltimore a few minutes before.

Next I saw her perform in DC @ Casram a few weeks later...There I discovered she is just as funny as she is musically gifted. Then I took a trip to CT to see her as the featured vocalist for Chris Botti and thought wow she has every genre covered!

Sy is an artist that is gifted, highly intelligent with an incredible sense of self...if you listen to her music she tells you exactly what's on her mind.
