I had the pleasure of seeing Sy perform for the first time Summer 2007 and was completely blown away...Her energy is crazy...Any time someone has me rocking to some music I have never heard before and gives me the strong desire to go purchase it, has got to be amazing. I met Sy that day and thought the person just as amazing as the artist that rocked the African American Heritage Festival here in Baltimore a few minutes before. Next I saw her perform in DC @ Casram a few weeks later...There I discovered she is just as funny as she is musically gifted. Then I took a trip to CT to see her as the featured vocalist for Chris Botti and thought wow she has every genre covered!
